Brigitte Coleman is a dynamic real estate professional, entrepreneur, and business leader, currently serving as the Owner & Qualifying Broker of #1Source Property Management. With a career that spans multiple industries over three decades, Brigitte has built a strong foundation in finance, property management, business operations, and community development.Early Career & Business Expertise Brigitte’s professional journey began in 1994, where she honed her skills in business operations, financial management, and leadership across various industries. Her extensive experience includes:
- Medical Field: Worked as a Business Office Manager and Multi-Skilled Medical Technician, gaining expertise in medical billing, patient care coordination, insurance collections, and office administration.
- Restaurant & Fast Food Management: Managed high-volume restaurant operations, overseeing staff supervision, financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting in the food service industry.
- Collections & Accounting: Developed a strong background in collections, revenue cycle management, and bookkeeping, which later became instrumental in her transition into real estate.
Real Estate & Property Management In 2005, Brigitte entered the real estate industry as a full-time entrepreneur, focusing on buying, rehabbing, and flipping properties through tax sales, ownership tracing, and strategic acquisitions in Ohio. After relocating to the Atlanta suburbs in 2007, she expanded her investment portfolio by acquiring and restoring historic properties in South Georgia while launching work-readiness and homeownership programs for the homeless. In 2014, she transitioned into professional property management, applying her accounting expertise as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for Ray White Property Management – Atlanta, an internationally recognized firm originally based in Surfers Paradise, Australia. Her financial and leadership skills quickly led her to become the company’s CFO and Director of Property Management, where she specialized in managing investment portfolios for both local and foreign investors
Broker & Expansion Goals In 2018, Brigitte obtained her real estate license, later becoming a licensed broker and founding #1Source Property Management, a company dedicated to providing comprehensive property management services. Her firm offers tenant placement, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and strategic property investment solutions for investors looking to maximize their returns.Brigitte is currently licensed in Georgia and South Carolina and has ambitious plans to expand into Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama. Her diverse background in finance, business management, real estate, and community service makes her a powerhouse in the property management industry, delivering expertise that blends strategic investment management with a strong commitment to community development.
